Hi, I’m Bella, the a sponsor dog under MADRA’s care! I’m incredibly fortunate to have found a dedicated permanent carer who ensures all my medical needs are met. I came to MADRA after the heartbreaking loss of my owner, and it quickly became clear that I had several health issues requiring attention.

One major issue was an untreated eye condition called entropion, which causes the eyelids to roll inward and irritate the eye. Thankfully, I received the necessary specialist surgery and am feeling much better now. I was also spayed during my treatment, which was an important part of my overall care plan.

However, the challenges didn’t end there. X-rays revealed that I have hip dysplasia in both hips and cruciate disease in both hind legs. These conditions require ongoing medication and management for the rest of my life to keep me comfortable and mobile. Despite the difficulties, the support from MADRA and my wonderful new carer has been invaluable.

The best part is that I’ve left kennel life behind and I now live in a loving home where I receive all the care and attention I need. While my medical conditions will require lifelong management, MADRA has committed to supporting me and my carer every step of the way. I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such a caring team and am excited to live a happy, comfortable life with my new family!
