Artworks by some of Ireland’s top artists including Kevin Sharkey, Frank O’Sullivan, Paul Crozier, Pádraig McCaul, Yin Yong, and Galway artists Grace Cunningham and Aoife Dowd will go under the hammer at the annual MADRA Charity Art Auction.
This year’s event promises to be the best yet, it will be hosted by legendary Galway auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan at the Portershed 1 building located in Market St Carpark, Galway on Saturday, December 3rd at 3 pm.

This year’s Art Auction includes stunning artworks with a diverse range of subjects and styles.
We are honoured so many talented artists have donated such beautiful pieces to support the homeless dogs in our care.
We have amazing support from dog lovers throughout the year, but the annual charity Art Auction is a way to reach out to a wider audience, who receive something unique in return.
In 2021, paintings were shipped by MADRA as far away as the USA and New Zealand.
It is amazing to see some of Ireland’s best artists using their talent to support animal welfare in Ireland.
