These guys are part of our ever-growing "Trickie family". If you feel up for a new, exciting, rewarding experience then give us a call now!

Right now these dogs have different requirements to pet dogs, and we need people who will put the dogs needs first and offer them a safe place to recover and start the new stage of their lives. The joy of watching these sweet souls grow and gain confidence cannot be described, and to be honest, they are not as high maintenance as you may think. A secure garden, a warm shed and a utility room are all you need to get started. Our trainers will give you full support if you decide to take part in this exciting new project. The dogs will go out in pairs or as a companion to an existing dog and you can apply to become part of their journey even if you work during the day, you just need a BIG HEART.

A sweet Collie boy that has had his trust in humans shattered. He is gentle & kind and will do better in a calm household with a secure garden and another dog, preferably female.

This little family are mostly ShihTzu and are quite friendly but they have no understanding of how to engage with the outside world. They will be very happy running around your garden and coming into the kitchen when they get courage.

Ashley is also with this group but he is a little bit more shy and must have had a Collie daddy

Archie has started his journey with the fabulous Gayle and her gang. Watch his progress via our social media team.

Two stunning whippet x Collie girls who are learning fast. They have been trained to wear collars & leads but the next crucial step is still too scary for them. They need a home environment to take this next step as we cannot offer them much more here at the kennels.

Abu was in a home but he found it hard to engage with the family so we need a foster home where he can be best friends with a resident canine while he negotiates his way through life.

These girls are still absolutely terrified and unfortunately the kennel environment, with all its noise and activity, is just the wrong place for them to be. We need an experienced foster for one or both of these girls. We think Jan & Nell are full siblings.

Pets and Covid-19

The #comfortincrisis campaign is aimed at those who wish to help their community by walking dogs for those who are unable to do so due to coronavirus.

The infographics gives us advice on how to do this safely.

Fostering a tricky is not as tricky as it may sound

A message from Tricky foster mum Gayle:

"An appeal goes up for a fosterer and you think, I could do that, then you read further and you see the word "Tricky" and you immediately think, oh no, I haven’t enough experience, I haven't enough training skills, they will be too hard to cope with.

I did...
